-         In her researches, she has focused on the relationship between obesity, exercise, antioxidants and disease.

-        From 2004-2008, she served as the head of the Gazi University Hospital central biochemistry, hormone and emergency department laboratories.

-        She has authored over 100 research articles in international journals.

-        She is the president of the Ankara branch of the Turkish Clinical biochemistry Society and often appears on television to talk about various health issues.
